A DTC-Based Snapshot ADPLL With Feedforward Fractional Spur Cancellation and Asynchronous Duty-Modulation Dithering DCO Achieving–71.6 dBc Fractional Spur in 65-nm CMOS Process

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper presents a DTC-based snapshot all-digital phase-locked loop (ADPLL) that achieves robust fractional spur suppression and low phase noise with compact circuit implementation.

Jitter-calibrated second-order correlation measurement of low-repetition-rate pulsed excitation

open access: yes, 2022
We report a new technique for the realization of second-order correlation ($g^2(\tau)$) measurement under low-repetition-rate pulsed excitation (1 kHz), with timing jitter calibrated to restore lateral $g^2(\tau)$ curves and determine $g^2(0)$.

Neurophysiological correlates of visually induced motion sickness severity: A scoping review of the impact of experimental settings on EEG spectral power

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent Medicine, Volume 3, Issue 2, Page 152-168, June 2026.
This review synthesizes EEG findings from 28 VIMS studies across four inducing scenarios (abstract cues, virtual videos, vehicle driving, and game scenes) and two display types (HMD and monitor). While Delta/Theta enhancement consistently reflects sensory conflict, Alpha activity shows context dependency: predominantly increasing during passive viewing

LOW-JITTER AND LOW-SPUR RING-OSCILLATOR-BASED PHASE-LOCKED LOOPS [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
Department of Electrical EngineeringIn recent years, ring-oscillator based clock generators have drawn a lot of attention due to the merits of high area efficiency, potentially wide tuning range, and multi-phase generation.

Statistical analysis of first-order bang-bang phase-locked loops using sign-dependent random-walk theory [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Bang-bang phase-locked loops (BBPLLs) are inherently nonlinear due to the hard nonlinearity introduced by the binary phase detector (BPD). This paper provides an exact statistical analysis of the steady-state timing jitter in a first order BBPLL when ...

A 10 mW 3.2 GHz All-Digital Fractional-N PLL Achieving −120-dBc/Hz In-Band Phase Noise Using a Continuous Time Bandpass Delta–Sigma Time-to-Digital Converter in 180-nm CMOS

open access: yesIEEE Access
This paper presents a continuous-time bandpass delta-sigma time-to-digital converter (CT-BP $\Delta \Sigma $ TDC) for all-digital fractional- $N$ phase-locked loops (ADPLLs) operating under low reference frequency and wide loop bandwidth constraints ...

Semantic Temporal Single‐Photon LiDAR

open access: yesAdvanced Photonics Research, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2026.
This study introduces a semantic Temporal single‐photon (TSP‐) LiDAR system that uses a self‐updating knowledge base for target recognition. The system adapts to unknown targets and performs effectively even under low signal‐to‐noise ratios and short acquisition times.

Monolithic Silicon Photonic Transceiver for 160 km Multi‐Channel Quantum Entanglement Distribution in Fiber Network

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 20, Issue 1, 8 January 2026.
The paper demonstrates a chip scale (4.5 x 4.5 mm2) silicon integrated system that is capable of distributing entangled photons over 160 km single mode fibers without dispersion compensations and external optical filters. The results highlight the potential for massive production and large‐scale deployed quantum integrated circuits for a future ...

Speech Differences between Multiple System Atrophy and Parkinson's Disease

open access: yesMovement Disorders Clinical Practice, Volume 12, Issue 9, Page 1391-1396, September 2025.
Abstract Background Delineation of Parkinson's disease (PD) from multiple system atrophy (MSA) can be challenging in early disease stages. Speech characteristics have been studied as digital biomarkers in PD and ataxias. Currently, data on speech in MSA is limited.

Signal selection and latency compensation in wide area controlled power system

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, Volume 13, Issue 8, Page 3885-3902, August 2025.
Abstract This paper presents a new approach for selecting signals for the monitoring and control of power systems over a wide area. The approach solves the twin problems of locating Phasor Measurement Units for observability and placing dynamic controllers for controllability using distinct techniques.
