Connecting the dots: A narrative review of the relationship between heart failure and cognitive impairment

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1119-1131, April 2025.

One‐Stone‐Two‐Birds Carrier‐Free Nano‐Cocktail Enables Synergistic Eradication of Cancer Cells/Stem Cells in Breast Cancer Treatment

open access: yesExploration, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cancer stem cells (CSCs) are widely recognized as the culprits of chemoresistance, tumor metastasis, and relapse. Moreover, most chemotherapeutic drugs not only fail to eliminate CSCs effectively, but also induce the acquisition of stemness characteristics in non‐stem cancer cells. Herein, we propose a cancer cells/CSCs double‐killing modality

Outcomes and risk factors of hemorrhage in patients with resected brain metastases

open access: yesInternational Journal of Cancer, EarlyView.
What's New? Brain metastases may present with hemorrhage, yet risk factors and clinical outcomes remain unclear. Based on a cohort of 880 patients with resected brain metastases, this study identified tumor volume and primary tumor histology (melanoma and non‐small cell lung cancer) as key predictors of hemorrhage.
