Fluid Biomarkers of Disease Burden and Cognitive Dysfunction in Progressive Supranuclear Palsy
ABSTRACT Objective Identifying objective biomarkers for progressive supranuclear palsy (PSP) is crucial to improving diagnosis and establishing clinical trial and treatment endpoints. This study evaluated fluid biomarkers in PSP versus controls and their associations with regional 18F‐PI‐2620 tau‐PET, clinical, and cognitive outcomes.

Investigation of the Effect of Low-Velocity Impact on Composite Plates with Preloading
In this study, the effects of low-velocity impact on the preloaded E-glass/ epoxy-laminated composites were investigated. Unidirectional reinforced E-glass/epoxy-laminated composite materials, [0/90]2s, were manufactured and tested. Dimensions of the specimens are 140 × 140 mm and its thickness is 2 mm.

Empirical relationships for hail impact on rigid targets
This study employs experimental and numerical methods to investigate the dynamic behavior of hail stones under low-velocity impact. Several experimental tests are conducted to simulate the impact of hail on rigid targets.

Functional and Structural Evidence of Neurofluid Circuit Aberrations in Huntington Disease
ABSTRACT Objective Disrupted neurofluid regulation may contribute to neurodegeneration in Huntington disease (HD). Because neurofluid pathways influence waste clearance, inflammation, and the distribution of central nervous system (CNS)–delivered therapeutics, understanding their dysfunction is increasingly important as targeted treatments emerge.

Numerical–Experimental Correlation of Impact-Induced Damages in CFRP Laminates
Composite laminates are characterized by high mechanical in-plane properties and poor out-of-plane characteristics. This issue becomes even more relevant when dealing with impact phenomena occurring in the transverse direction.

ABSTRACT Background and Objectives Multiple sclerosis (MS) exhibits racially disparate rates of disease progression. Black people with MS (B‐PwMS) experience a more severe disease course than non‐Hispanic White people with MS (NHW‐PwMS). Here we investigated structural and functional connectivity as well as structure–function decoupling in the ...

Fish data for Impacts of beaver dams on low-flow hydrology and hydraulics, Knife River, Minnesota
We conducted general fish surveys in 2018 around active beaver dams selected for low-flow hydrology and hydraulics in the Knife River (https://conservancy.umn.edu/handle/11299/220310), as a component of that project was to evaluate fish movement ...

CHARACTERIZATION OF LOW VELOCITY LOCAL IMPACT OF SANDWICH PANELS
The present paper deals with analysis of local indentation and their energies in point loading of sandwich panel with thin orthotropic composite faces and honeycomb core as an introduction for low velocity impact loading and energy absorbing in sandwich structures.
