Low-grade osteosarcoma of the jaw
Annals of Diagnostic Pathology, 2002We describe a case of low-grade osteosarcoma of the jaw. The patient is a 25-year-old woman who presented with large, nontender, slowly progressive, expansile left mandibular mass. X-ray showed a predominantly hypodense mass with erosive growth pattern affecting the angle, posterior body, and ramus of the left mandible.

At first glance the study reported in this issue of the Journal of Neurosurgery by Yordanova et al.,7 “Awake surgery for WHO grade II gliomas within ‘noneloquent’ areas in the left dominant hemisphere: Toward a ‘supratotal’ resection,” may not seem to be a novel observation with significant implications for patient care.
