Existence of multiple positive solutions for a class of first-order periodic boundary value problems

open access: yes四川大学学报. 自然科学版, 2022
We investigate the existence of multiple positive solutions for a class of first-order periodic boundary value problems. The proof of the main results is based on the theories of upper and lower solutions and Leray-Schauder degree.

New Positive Solutions of Nonlinear Elliptic PDEs

open access: yesApplied Sciences, 2020
We are concerned with positive solutions of two types of nonlinear elliptic boundary value problems (BVPs). We present conditions for existence, uniqueness and multiple positive solutions of a first type of elliptic BVPs.

Efficacy and Safety Analysis of Roxarestat in Regulating Renal Anemia in Patients on Maintenance Hemodialysis

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To compare the efficacy and safety of roxarestat versus recombinant human erythropoietin (rhEPO) in the management of renal anemia in patients undergoing maintenance hemodialysis. Methods This was a prospective, open‐label, randomized controlled trial.

On second order periodic boundary-value problems with upper and lower solutions in the reversed order

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2006
In this paper, we study the differential equation with the periodic boundary value $$displaylines{ u''(t)=f(t, u(t), u'(t)),quad tin [0, 2pi]cr u(0)=u(2pi), quad u'(0)=u'(2pi).

Extremal solutions for second-order fully discontinuous problems with nonlinear functional boundary conditions

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2018
We provide new results concerning the existence of extremal solutions for a class of second-order problems with nonlinear functional boundary conditions where the nonlinearity considered may be discontinuous with respect to all of its variables. The main

Upper and lower bounds of the norm of solutions of differential systems [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the American Mathematical Society, 1963
Proof. The inequality (2) follows from the Theorem 1 in [4]. To prove (3), we have to use essentially the same argument as in [4] but now we have to consider the minimal solution of u'= —g(x, u), u(a)=\z(a)\ instead of the maximal solution of u' = g(x, u), u(a) = | z(a) |. This completes the proof. Remark.

Experience With Performing Rheocarna Therapy via the Single‐Needle Method for Treatment of Chronic Limb‐Threatening Ischemia

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction This study investigated the safety and efficacy of single‐needle Rheocarna therapy for chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) with wounds. Methods Six patients with CLTI involving ulcers unresponsive to revascularization underwent single‐needle Rheocarna treatment.

The Method of upper and lower solutions for second-order non-homogeneous two-point boundary-value problem

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2007
This paper studies the existence and uniqueness of solutions for a type of second-order two-point boundary-value problem depending on the first-order derivative through a non-linear term.

Positive solutions for nonlinear Caputo-Hadamard fractional differential equations [PDF]

open access: yesSurveys in Mathematics and its Applications, 2021
n this paper we study the existence and uniqueness of positive solutions for a class of nonlinear Caputo-Hadamard fractional differential equations by using the method of upper and lower solutions and Schauder and Banach fixed point theorems.

First order differential systems with a nonlinear boundary condition via the method of solution-regions

open access: yesBoundary Value Problems, 2021
In this article we extend the known theory of solution regions to encompass nonlinear boundary conditions. We both provide results for new boundary conditions and recover some known results for the linear case.
