ABSTRACT This paper presents a robust control synthesis and analysis framework for nonlinear systems with uncertain initial conditions. First, a deep learning‐based lifting approach is proposed to approximate nonlinear dynamical systems with linear parameter‐varying (LPV) state‐space models in higher‐dimensional spaces while simultaneously ...

ABSTRACT The phrenic nerve is responsible for the motor innervation of the diaphragm, which is essential for breathing. The literature lacks data regarding the nervous and respiratory systems of wild animals, especially the maned wolf (Chrysocyon brachyurus).

Zonotopic Linear Parameter Varying SLAM Applied to Autonomous Vehicles
This article presents an approach to address the problem of localisation within the autonomous driving framework. In particular, this work takes advantage of the properties of polytopic Linear Parameter Varying (LPV) systems and set-based methodologies ...

LPV Robust Controller Design with Regional Pole Assignment for an Aero-Engine
The aerodynamic characteristics of aero-engine, which have a wide range of flight envelopes, vary drastically, so its controller is required to be able to adapt to a large range of parameter variations and have good robustness. To solve the above problem,

Soluble SORL1 in cerebrospinal fluid as a marker for functional impact of rare SORL1 variants
Abstract INTRODUCTION The sortilin‐related receptor (SORL1) directs APP and Aβ trafficking within the retromer pathway. Cleavage at the cell surface releases soluble SORL1 (sSORL1) into cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). We examined whether CSF‐sSORL1 can serve as an in vivo marker of genetically impaired SORL1.

Deadbeat Robust Model Predictive Control: Robustness Without Computing Robust Invariant Sets
ABSTRACT Deadbeat Robust Model Predictive Control (DRMPC) is introduced as a new approach of Robust Model Predictive Control (RMPC) for linear systems with additive disturbances. Its main idea is to completely extinguish the effect of the disturbances in the predictions within a small number of time steps, called the deadbeat horizon.

Data‐Driven Distributed Safe Control Design for Multi‐Agent Systems
This paper presents a data‐driven control barrier function (CBF) technique for ensuring safe control of multi‐agent systems (MASs) with uncertain linear dynamics. A data‐driven quadratic programming (QP) optimization is first developed for CBF‐based safe control of single‐agent systems using a nonlinear controller. This approach is then extended to the

Stability analysis of LPV systems: Scenario approach [PDF]
[EN] This paper discusses a `scenario¿ approach to prove decay-rate stability of discrete-time polytopic linear parameter-varying systems, dealing with sets of sequences of vertex models of different length. When all sequences have the same length, parameter-trajectory dependent results in earlier literature are obtained as particular cases.

Structural Adaptability of IgA and IgM Supports Broad SARS‐CoV‐2 Variant Neutralization
ABSTRACT Neutralizing emerging SARS‐CoV‐2 variants requires antibodies effective not only against epitope mutations but also under variable antigenic presentations. We assessed the neutralization capacity of the same anti‐RBD monoclonal antibody (8A5) expressed as IgG, IgA, or IgM against 18 variants, identifying three neutralization classes: variants ...
