Recipient–Donor Sex Combinations and Posttransplant Infections: A Swiss Transplant Cohort Study
In this cohort study of 5033 patients, only the recipient sex, in particularly kidney recipients, was independently associated with an increased risk of infections, when compared to males. These findings indicate that recipient–donor sex combination does not influence short‐term solid organ transplantation outcome.

In 53 lung transplant donor‐recipient pairs, community‐acquired respiratory viruses were incidentally detected by syndromic PCR in 13.2% of donor and 20.8% of recipient bronchoalveolar lavages, with exploratory, unadjusted signals towards longer hospitalization and chronic lung allograft dysfunction.

Impact of Letermovir on Voriconazole Concentrations in Lung Transplant Patients
Concomitant letermovir was associated with lower voriconazole exposure and reduced attainment of commonly used efficacy thresholds in lung transplant recipients.
