Boolean matching for LUT-based logic blocks with applications to architecture evaluation and technology mapping

IEEE Transactions on Computer-Aided Design of Integrated Circuits and Systems, 2001
In this paper, we present new Boolean matching methods for lookup table (LUT)-based programmable logic blocks (PLBs) and their applications to PLB architecture evaluations and field programmable gate array (FPGA) technology mapping. Our Boolean matching methods, which are based on functional decomposition operations, can characterize functions for ...

Analysis of FPGA Architecture with Hybrid Logic Blocks Based on ULG and LUT

Journal of Circuits, Systems and Computers
This paper analyzes the efficiency of different FPGA architectures consisting of Hybrid logic blocks (HLB) formed with Look-up Tables (LUTs) and Universal Logic Gates (ULGs). Pure LUT-based architectures induce area overhead and a longer delay. A ULG is designed to realize an efficient architecture compared to pure LUT-based architectures.

Geometric-kinematic characteristics of the main faults in the W-SW of the Lut Block (SE Iran)

Journal of African Earth Sciences, 2018
Abstract The area to the W-SW of the Lut Block in Iran has experienced numerous historical and recent destructive earthquakes. We examined a number of faults in this area that have high potential for generating destructive earthquakes. In this study a number of faults are introduced and named for the first time.

Petrography, geochemistry and tectonic significance of the Mahoor granitoids (Lut Block, Eastern Iran)

2014
The Mahoor granitoids are Cu–Zn-bearing porphyries that outcrop in the central part of the Lut Block, about 135 km south-west of Nehbandan (eastern Iran). These granitoids occur mainly as dykes and stocks that intrude Eocene volcanics. Petrographically, all the studied intrusives display porphyritic textures with mm-sized phenocrysts, most commonly of ...

Geodynamics and underlying bedrock of the magnetically active crust layer of the Lut block, Eastern Iran

Geotectonics, 2016
The Curie point depth map of Eastern Iran was constituted from spectral analysis of the aeromagnetic data. The reduction to pole (RTP) was applied to the magnetic anomaly data. The Curie point depth values from 165 overlapping blocks, 100 × 100 km in size, have been estimated.

Foraminifera biozonation and morphogroups from Nimbolook section, east margin of Lut block, Iran

Arabian Journal of Geosciences, 2016
One stratigraphic section named Nimbolook succession in the northwest of Qayen city was measured and sampled. Based on identified foraminifera Berthelina intermedia assemblage zone, Rotalipora appenninica and Biticinella subbreggiensis interval zones were proposed. These biozones coincide with global biozones.

Moment tensor and stress inversion for an active fault system in west part of Lut-Block, Iran

2015
Iran is one of the most tectonically active regions on the Alpine-Himalayan earthquake belt. Eastern Iran, nowadays, is one of the most active regions of the country. The occurrence of several destructive earthquakes during the past 50 years provides the evidence for the seismic activity in this region.
