Antigen‐Targeting Inserted Nanomicelles Guide Pre‐Existing Immunity to Kill Head and Neck Cancer
This study introduces a tumor‐targeted nanomicelle platform (preS1‐pHLIP) that exploits pre‐existing antiviral immunity to combat heterogeneous cancers. By delivering viral antigens to label tumors as virus‐like targets, the nanomicelles activate antiviral B and T cells, triggering in situ tumor lysis.

Biological processes and factors involved in soft and hard tissue healing
Abstract Wound healing is a complex and iterative process involving myriad cellular and biologic processes that are highly regulated to allow satisfactory repair and regeneration of damaged tissues. This review is intended to be an introductory chapter in a volume focusing on the use of platelet concentrates for tissue regeneration.

Parasite specific energy in human filariasis; insights after analysis of parasite antigen-driven lymphokine production [PDF]
The antigen-specific immune unresponsiveness seen in bancroftian filariasis was studied by examining lymphokine production in peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC) or PBMC subpopulations from 10 patients with asymptomatic microfilaremia, 13 ...

Heterogeneity of autoreactive T cell clones specific for the E2 component of the pyruvate dehydrogenase complex in primary biliary cirrhosis. [PDF]
The extraordinary specificity of bile duct destruction in primary biliary cirrhosis (PBC) and the presence of T cell infiltrates in the portal tracts have suggested that biliary epithelial cells are the targets of an autoimmune response.

NKR-P1A is a target-specific receptor that activates natural killer cell cytotoxicity. [PDF]
NKR-P1A is a lectinlike surface molecule expressed on rat natural killer (NK) cells. NKR-P1A has structural and functional features of an activating NK cell receptor, but a requirement for NKR-P1A in target cell lysis has not been determined.
