Exploring biofiber properties and their influence on biocomposite tensile properties
The study measured the physical, flow and chemical properties of 10 biofibers. It characterized the tensile properties of derived biocomposites and linked them using regression models, showing robust predictive performance. Abstract Biofibers serve as effective reinforcements for neat polylactic acid (PLA) in biocomposites, offering an attractive ...

Consistent alpha-cluster description of the 12C (0^+_2) resonance
The near-threshold 12C (0^+_2) resonance provides unique possibility for fast helium burning in stars, as predicted by Hoyle to explain the observed abundance of elements in the Universe.

X-RAY SOURCES AND THEIR OPTICAL COUNTERPARTS IN THE GALACTIC GLOBULAR CLUSTER M12 (NGC 6218) [PDF]
We study a Chandra X-ray Observatory ACIS-S observation of the Galactic globular cluster M12. With a 26 ks exposure time, we detect six X-ray sources inside the half-mass radius (2.′16) of which two are inside the core radius (0.′72) of the cluster.

Polyolefin encapsulants are gaining dominance in PV modules, yet confusion persists around PO, POE, and TPO definitions. This study clarifies terminology, reviews materials, and properties and proposes a taxonomy to improve understanding, communication, and reliability in solar module manufacturing.

Multiple Access Channels with Combined Cooperation and Partial Cribbing
In this paper we study the multiple access channel (MAC) with combined cooperation and partial cribbing and characterize its capacity region. Cooperation means that the two encoders send a message to one another via a rate-limited link prior to ...

In this study, we combine tourist‐contributed images with camera trap‐based monitoring data to estimate leopard (Panthera pardus) population densities using multi‐session spatial capture–recapture models. We show that incorporating tourist observations improves precision and yields an overall density estimate of 7.02 leopards per 100 km2, while ...

Bi-Large Neutrino Mixing See-Saw Mass Matrix with Texture Zeros and Leptogenesis
We study constraints on neutrino properties from texture zeros in bi-large mixing See-Saw mass matrix and also from leptogenesis. Texture zeros may occur in the light (class a)) or in the heavy (class b)) neutrino mass matrices. Each of these two classes
