Fuzzy spheres in stringy matrix models: quantifying chaos in a mixed phase space

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
We consider a truncation of the BMN matrix model to a configuration of two fuzzy spheres, described by two coupled non-linear oscillators dependent on the mass parameter μ.

Chaos in the holographic matrix models for meson and baryon

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
In recent years, the investigation of chaos has become a bridge connecting gravity theory and quantum field theory, especially within the framework of gauge-gravity duality.

Gauge Field on Brane in M-atrix Theory

open access: yes, 2001
In this ultra short note, gauge field propagation in D-brane configuration of M theory in the BFSS matrix formulation is considered. Noncommutativity of the space plays a key role for appearance of gauge fields as physical degrees of freedom.

On the Second Quantization of M(atrix) Theory

open access: yes, 1997
The second quantization of M(atrix) theory in the free (Boltzmannian) Fock space is considered. It provides a possible framework to the recent Susskind proposal that U(N) supersymmetic Yang-Mills theories for all N might be embedded in a single dynamical system.

Non-trivial saddles in microscopic description of black holes

open access: yesJournal of High Energy Physics
Non-trivial gravitational saddles have played a key role in the island proposal for the black hole information paradox. It is worth asking if non-trivial saddles exist in microscopic descriptions of black holes.
