Inositol pyrophosphates are energy‐rich signaling molecules that perform critical functions in cells. Three different families of phosphatases hydrolyze the β phosphate of the inositol pyrophosphate molecules: two have narrow specificities and one is promiscuous.

SQL Generation via Machine Reading Comprehension [PDF]
Text-to-SQL systems offers natural language interfaces to databases, which can automatically generates SQL queries given natural language questions. On the WikiSQL benchmark, state-of- the-art text-to-SQL systems typically take a slot-filling approach by building several specialized models for each type of slot.

Design and analysis strategies for robust microbiome ageing research
The gut microbiome changes with age and associates with age‐related morbidity and mortality, establishing it as a potential biomarker and intervention target for ageing. Realising this potential requires methodological rigour, yet distinguishing biological signals from methodological artefacts remains challenging across cohorts. This review provides an

An investigation of 'minimalist' and 'constructionist' processing strategies in pronoun comprehension [PDF]
This thesis investigated the use of 'minimal' (gender/number information, linguistic conjunction and thematic role occupancy) and 'non-minimal' information (spatial information and description type - proper name vs. role name i.e.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Tumour–host interactions in Drosophila: mechanisms in the tumour micro‐ and macroenvironment
This review examines how tumour–host crosstalk takes place at multiple levels of biological organisation, from local cell competition and immune crosstalk to organism‐wide metabolic and physiological collapse. Here, we integrate findings from Drosophila melanogaster studies that reveal conserved mechanisms through which tumours hijack host systems to ...

Reference Knowledgeable Network for Machine Reading Comprehension
Multi-choice Machine Reading Comprehension (MRC) as a challenge requires models to select the most appropriate answer from a set of candidates with a given passage and question. Most of the existing researches focus on the modeling of specific tasks or complex networks, without explicitly referring to relevant and credible external knowledge sources ...
