Literary translation as a three-stage process : machine translation, post-editing and revision
This study focuses on English-Dutch literary translations that were created in a professional environment using an MT-enhanced workflow consisting of a three-stage process of automatic translation followed by post-editing and (mainly) monolingual ...

Handling phrase reordering for machine translation [PDF]
We propose a distance phrase reordering model (DPR) for statistical machine translation (SMT), where the aim is to capture phrase reorderings using a structure learning framework. On both the reordering classification and a Chinese-to-English translation

Liquid biopsy‐based diagnostic evaluation of hypermethylated CpG sites for ovarian cancer diagnosis
This schematic outlines the workflow from biomarker identification to duplex MethyLight assay validation for epithelial ovarian cancer diagnosis using cfDNA‐based liquid biopsy. Initial screening of hypermethylated CpG candidates (cg02957270, cg10061138 cg00480298, COL2A1) was performed in tissue using ARMS‐PCR, COBRA, qPCR and image analysis. Selected

Dual-channel deep graph convolutional neural networks
The dual-channel graph convolutional neural networks based on hybrid features jointly model the different features of networks, so that the features can learn each other and improve the performance of various subsequent machine learning tasks.

The ethics of machine translation [PDF]
In this paper I first describe the two main branches in machine translation research. I then go to discuss why the second of these, statistical machine translation, can cause some malaise among translation scholars.

Single‐cell multi‐omics reveals epigenetic heterogeneity across therapy‐adaptive tumor states, including quiescent/dormant, drug‐tolerant persister, and EMT‐like phenotypes. By linking regulatory features with state‐associated biomarkers, these approaches inform biomarker‐guided therapeutic strategies for evolving tumors.

Statistically motivated example-based machine translation using translation memory [PDF]
In this paper we present a novel way of integrating Translation Memory into an Example-based Machine translation System (EBMT) to deal with the issue of low resources. We have used a dialogue of 380 sentences as the example-base for our system.

PARP inhibitors induce a senescence phenotype in non‐small cell lung carcinoma cell lines
Talazoparib is the most potent inducer of senescence among different PARP1 inhibitors in human NSCLC cells. In the absence of PARP, no senescence phenotype was observed, demonstrating that PARP1 is necessary for the induction of senescence by this inhibitor.
