High LRIG1 expression predicts lymph node metastasis in patients with uterine cervical cancer
Lymph node status is crucial in determining treatment for women with early‐stage cervical cancer. We demonstrate that high LRIG1 protein expression in primary tumors can predict lymph node metastases. Our findings support further investigation of LRIG1 as a biomarker to improve staging accuracy and guide treatment decisions in cervical cancer patients.

Compact magnets for magnetic resonance
AbstractThis article provides an introduction to magnetic material properties and an overview of compact permanent magnet designs. The descriptions are focused on portable magnetic resonance instruments, including in‐magnet and open configurations. A few examples are presented for spectroscopy as well as for space‐resolved and relaxation measurements. ©

Mitochondrial DNA disorders in neuromuscular diseases in diverse populations
Abstract Neuromuscular features are common in mitochondrial DNA (mtDNA) disorders. The genetic architecture of mtDNA disorders in diverse populations is poorly understood. We analysed mtDNA variants from whole‐exome sequencing data in neuromuscular patients from South Africa, Brazil, India, Turkey and Zambia. In 998 individuals, there were two definite

ABSTRACT C‐truncating variants in the charged multivesicular body protein 2B (CHMP2B) gene are a rare cause of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), previously identified only in Denmark, Belgium, and China. We report a novel CHMP2B splice‐site variant (c.35‐1G>A) associated with familial FTLD in Spain. The cases were two monozygotic male twins who

Prediction of a new efficient permanent magnet SmCoNiFe3
We propose a new efficient permanent magnet, SmCoNiFe3, that is a breakthrough development of the well-known SmCo5 prototype. More modern neodymium magnets of the Nd-Fe-B type have an advantage over SmCo5 because of their greater maximum energy products ...

Spinal Cord Abnormalities in Early Pediatric Multiple Sclerosis
ABSTRACT Spinal cord lesions and atrophy in the cervical region are common in adult multiple sclerosis (MS) and correlate with disability. Whether similar abnormalities occur in pediatric MS patients is largely unknown. Clinical and MRI evaluations were performed in 38 pediatric MS patients and 13 healthy controls (HC).

Magnetic Field of a Permanent Magnet
<p> For magnetic field calculations, cylindrical permanent magnets are often approximated as ideal, azimuthally symmetric solenoids. Despite the frequent usage of this approximation, research papers demonstrating the validity and limitations of this approach are scarcely available.
