Heterozygous loss‐of‐function alleles associate the conserved 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease EXOSC10 with hypersensitivity to the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Effect of High-Harmonic Wave-Vector Interactions on the Single-Q Spiral State

open access: yesMagnetism
We investigate the role of high-harmonic wave-vector interactions, which affect the stability of the single-Q spiral state and often result in the formation of multiple-Q states.

Longitudinal circulating tumor DNA profiling in patients with advanced endometrial cancer using an off‐the‐shelf targeted NGS panel

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Resilience of LTE-A/5G-NR Links Against Transient Electromagnetic Interference

open access: yesMagnetism
This paper presents a comparative analysis of a long-term evolution advanced (LTE-A) and fifth-generation new radio (5G-NR), focusing on the effects of transient electromagnetic interference (EMI) caused by catenary–pantograph contact in a railway ...

Circulating tumor cell viability during and after radiotherapy mirrors treatment response in cancer patients

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Radiotherapy (RT) response depends on the DNA repair capacity of tumor and host cells. We show that circulating tumor cell (CTC) counts and apoptosis rates before and after RT predict treatment response and outcome, which can be accessed via easily accessible liquid biopsy approaches. Created in BioRender. Wikman, H.

Effect of In-Plane Magnetic Field on Skyrmions in a Centrosymmetric Triangular-Lattice System with Symmetric Anisotropic Exchange Interaction

open access: yesMagnetism
We report our numerical results on the stability of the skyrmion crystal phase in an external magnetic field for both in-plane and out-of-plane directions in a centrosymmetric host. We analyze a spin model with the two-spin symmetric anisotropic exchange

Magnetic structures, magnetic domains and topological magnetic textures of magnetic materials

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 2015
This article first gives a brief review of magnetic structures, magnetic domains and topological magnetic textures and their relations. On the one hand, the magnetic domains are determined by the magnetic structures, the intrinsic magnetic properties and the micro-structural factors of a material.
