Preparation and Properties of Magnetite and Polymer Magnetite Nanoparticles
Langmuir, 1999A novel approach to prepare magnetic polymeric nanoparticles by synthesis of the magnetite core and polymeric shell in a single inverse microemulsion is reported. Stable magnetic nanoparticles colloid dispersion with narrow size distribution can thus be produced.

Effect of magnetite nanoparticles on human blood components
Bulletin of Experimental Biology and Medicine, 2023The qualitative composition and zeta potential of magnetite nanoparticles (size 4.2±1.2 nm) obtained by co-precipitation method were determined by X-ray and diffraction dynamic light scattering. The zeta potential of Fe3O4 particles was -15.1±4.5 mV.

Synthesis and characterization of magnetite nanoparticles from mineral magnetite
Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2013Abstract We have synthesized magnetite nanoparticles with sizes that range from 20 to 30 nm from mineral magnetite roughly 45 μm in size. The procedure consists in the dissolution of the mineral in an acidic medium and subsequent precipitation in a basic medium in the presence of oleic acid.
