On the adsorption of magnetite nanoparticles on lysozyme amyloid fibrils
Colloids and Surfaces B: Biointerfaces, 2016An adsorption of magnetic nanoparticles (MNP) from electrostatically stabilized aqueous ferrofluids on amyloid fibrils of hen egg white lysozyme (HEWL) in 2mg/mL acidic dispersions have been detected for the MNP concentration range of 0.01-0.1vol.%.

Preparation and Characterization of Magnetite Nanoparticles
Applied Mechanics and Materials, 2014The preparation of magnetite nanoparticles with controlled size has attracted of scientific and technological broad attention. Spherical magnetite nanoparticles in the size range from 8nm to 22 nm were synthesized by coprecipiation method using hexadecyl trimethyl ammonium bromide (CTAB) as dispersant.

Magnetotransport of magnetite nanoparticle arrays
Physical Review B, 2006We combine a material self-assembly with conventional lithographic processes in order to fabricate magnetoelectronic devices composed of ordered three-dimensional arrays of magnetite $({\mathrm{Fe}}_{3}{\mathrm{O}}_{4})$ nanoparticles. The device magnetoresistance reaches 35% at 60 K, corresponding to an electron spin polarization of 73 ...

Sorption of uranium on magnetite nanoparticles
Journal of Radioanalytical and Nuclear Chemistry, 2010Magnetite (Fe3O4) nanoparticle was synthesized using a solid state mechanochemical method and used for studying the sorption of uranium(VI) from aqueous solution onto the nanomaterial. The synthesized product is characterized using SEM, XRD and XPS. The particles were found to be largely agglomerated.

The synthesis of octahedral nanoparticles of magnetite
Materials Letters, 2006Abstract This work presents an efficient method of largely synthesizing octahedral magnetite nanoparticles. Without any surfactant, octahedral magnetite nanoparticles were successfully achieved by means of an oxidation–precipitation method with ferrous sulfate as starting material, which was pro rata oxidized to ferric salts by NaNO 3 after ...
