Wideband and Frequency‐Reconfigurable Loop Antenna for Sub‐6 GHz Applications

open access: yesIET Microwaves, Antennas &Propagation, Volume 20, Issue 1, January/December 2026.
This work tackles the longstanding bandwidth limitation of loop antennas by introducing a compact, symmetrical design that integrates a microstrip balun and periodic varactor loading. Unlike existing methods that often compromise symmetry or beam control, the proposed structure achieves both wide impedance bandwidth and frequency reconfigurability ...

Magnetostatic waves in the gap between two ferromagnetic with longitudinal magnetizations that move relative to each other

open access: yesФизика волновых процессов и радиотехнические системы, 2013
The propagation of a magnetostatic gap wave in a gap between two ferromagnetic with opposite longitudinal magnetizations is considered under the conditions for relative longitudinal displacement.

A High‐Precision Triboelectric Rotational Sensor for Enhanced Low‐Speed Monitoring via Magnetic Modulation in Smart Fitness Systems

open access: yesSmartSys, Volume 1, Issue 4, December 2025.
ABSTRACT Real‐time detection of low‐speed motion and precise monitoring of low‐intensity exercise are crucial for smart fitness systems. These capabilities enable continuous data acquisition, capture subtle motion variations for personalized guidance, and enhance training effectiveness while reducing the risk of injury. However, conventional rotational

Spin Waves in an Arbitrary Ferromagnetic Nanosystem with a Translational Symmetry. Nanotube with a Round Cross-section. Nanotube with an Elliptic Cross-section [PDF]

open access: yesЖурнал нано- та електронної фізики, 2014
In the paper, spin waves in an arbitrary translational-symmetry composite nanosystem containing an “easy axis” ferromagnet are studied. For such a system, equation for the magnetic potential in magnetostatic approximation is obtained taking into account ...

Perpendicularly magnetized YIG-film resonators and waveguides with high operating power

open access: yesAIP Advances, 2017
We propose a novel technique for building YIG film-based resonators and waveguides for high power operating microwave devices. Our approach is based on the effect of total internal reflection (TIR) at the interface between the non-metalized and metalized

Quantifying the inverse spin-Hall effect in highly doped PEDOT:PSS

open access: yesPhysical Review Research, 2020
We present a systematic investigation of the inverse spin-Hall effect (ISHE) in the π-conjugated polymer poly(3,4-ethylenedioxythiophene):poly(4-styrenesulfonate) (PEDOT:PSS).

Active narrowband magnetostatic wave filter

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1999
An active passband microwave filter consisting of a magnetostatic wave (MSW) delay line and microwave amplifier has been developed and tested. A narrow passband of 120 kHz was obtained at the S/C-band corresponding to a quality factor Q of ~40000. The frequency response characteristics are presented.

Real-time monitoring of breath biomarkers using magnonic wireless sensor based on magnetic nanoparticles

open access: yesSensing and Bio-Sensing Research
In this paper, an innovative device with gas remote-sensing capability is proposed, which is based on the interaction between magnetic nanoparticles and gases associated with exhaled breath biomarkers that can have a metabolic origin.
