Integrating Cu2O and Fe2O3 Dual Photoelectrodes Into a Solar Rechargeable Flow Battery

open access: yesEcoEnergy, EarlyView.
This work presents a solar rechargeable flow battery using protected Cu2O and Fe2O3 dual photoelectrodes and Fe(BPMG)2(II/III) and Fe2+/Fe3+ redox couples. The device enables bias‐free charging and delivers an output voltage of 0.62 V and a solar‐to‐output electricity efficiency of approximately 0.11%. ABSTRACT Solar rechargeable flow batteries (SRFBs),

Transient Charging Dynamics in Stacked Ga2O3/ZnO Photovoltaic Units Governing Wavelength‐Selective Polarity Switching

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
This work reveals a “Photovoltaic‐Capacitance” coupling mechanism in stacked Ga2O3/ZnO devices, defining the ZnO/graphene interface as a novel Photovoltaic Dynamic‐Capacitor (PDC). The wavelength‐selective bipolar response enables a physical layer secure communication protocol based on ternary optical logic (“1,” “0,” “−1”).

Synergistic Modulation of Conductivity and Oxidation Stability in SiHfBCN Ceramics via UV‐Assisted Structural Evolution

open access: yesENERGY &ENVIRONMENTAL MATERIALS, EarlyView.
A quinary UV‐curable SiHfBCN ceramic photoresist with high ceramic yield enhanced is developed through sequential molecular design for high‐temperature sensing coatings. The elevated interconnected conductive network induced by chemically bonded carboxylated MWCNTs enables the pyrolyzed ceramics' enhanced conductivity and excellent oxidation stability.
