Clinical Insights Into Hypercalcemia of Malignancy in Childhood
ABSTRACT Hypercalcemia of malignancy (HCM) is a rare but life‐threatening metabolic emergency in children that occurs in less than 1% of pediatric cancer cases, with a reported incidence ranging from 0.4% to 1.0% across different studies. While it is observed in 10%–20% of adult malignancies, pediatric HCM remains relatively uncommon.

Latin-majorization and its linear preservers [PDF]
In this paper we study the concept of Latin-majorizati-\on. Geometrically this concept is different from other kinds of majorization in some aspects.

Generalizations of Sherman’s inequality by Lidstone’s interpolating polynomial
In majorization theory, the well-known majorization theorem plays a very important role. A more general result was obtained by Sherman. In this paper, concerning 2n-convex functions, we get generalizations of these results applying Lidstone’s ...

Strong and Weak Optimizations in Classical and Quantum Models of Stochastic Processes [PDF]
Among the predictive hidden Markov models that describe a given stochastic process, the {\epsilon}-machine is strongly minimal in that it minimizes every R\'enyi-based memory measure. Quantum models can be smaller still.

ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate selumetinib exposure using therapeutic drug monitoring (TDM) in pediatric patients with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) and plexiform neurofibromas (PN), assess interpatient pharmacokinetic variability, and explore the relationship between drug exposure, clinical response, and adverse effects.

ABSTRACT Background and Aims Wilms tumour (WT) has excellent event‐free and overall survival (OS). However, small differences exist between countries participating in the same international study. This led us to examine variation in adherence to protocol recommendations as a potential contributing factor.

Rayleigh-Ritz majorization error bounds of the mixed type
The absolute change in the Rayleigh quotient (RQ) for a Hermitian matrix with respect to vectors is bounded in terms of the norms of the residual vectors and the angle between vectors in [\doi{10.1137/120884468}]. We substitute multidimensional subspaces

ABSTRACT Arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) are rare, high‐flow, vascular anomalies that can occur either sporadically or as part of a genetic syndrome. AVMs can progress with serious morbidity and even mortality if left unchecked. Sirolimus is an mTOR inhibitor that is effective in low‐flow vascular malformations; however, its role in AVMs is unclear.
