Ecological Adaptation Mechanisms Underlying Successful Plant Reproduction
During floral induction, various environmental and endogenous signals converge to regulate the florigen protein, which is transported from leaves to the SAM to initiate flowering. Within the SAM, a complex network of receptor kinases and small peptides orchestrates floral development with high spatiotemporal precision.

KIF2C is essential for meiosis and manchette dynamics in male mice
In gametogenesis, microtubules undergo dramatic changes known as microtubule dynamics, and which is important for fertility both male and female. In spermatogenesis, spindle microtubule dynamics occur during meiosis and manchette microtubule dynamics ...

CENH3-GFP: a visual marker for gametophytic and somatic ploidy determination in Arabidopsis thaliana [PDF]
Background: The in vivo determination of the cell-specific chromosome number provides a valuable tool in several aspects of plant research. However, current techniques to determine the endosystemic ploidy level do not allow non-destructive, cell-specific

Environmental cadmium exposure disrupts testicular homeostasis through a novel intercellular communication axis. Stressed Sertoli cells release extracellular vesicles carrying damage‐associated molecular patterns and mitochondrial fragments, which activate macrophages via TLR4/NF‐κB signaling.

A graphene oxide/collagen scaffold is developed for chronic massive rotator cuff tear repair. The scaffold improves compressive stability, supports reparative mesenchymal differentiation, and modulates the immune microenvironment. In chronic MRCT models, it reduces muscle degeneration, enhances tendon–bone regeneration, and improves functional recovery,

Impact of trisomy on fertility and meiosis in male mice [PDF]
Chromosomal abnormalities frequently are associated with impairment or arrest of spermatogenesis in mammals but are compatible with fertility in female carriers of the same anomaly. In the case of trisomy, mice have extra genomic DNA as well as the chromosomal abnormality, usually present as an extra, unpaired chromosome.

Stage-specific expression profiling of Drosophila spermatogenesis suggests that meiotic sex chromosome inactivation drives genomic relocation of testis-expressed genes. [PDF]
In Drosophila, genes expressed in males tend to accumulate on autosomes and are underrepresented on the X chromosome. In particular, genes expressed in testis have been observed to frequently relocate from the X chromosome to the autosomes.

ABSTRACT The Homologous Recombination Factor With OB‐Fold (HROB) plays a role in homologous recombination and DNA replication, where it enhances the MCM8‐MCM9 helicase complex activity. Recent findings link biallelic germline HROB variants to primary gonadal insufficiency (hypergonadotropic hypogonadism), a phenotype also associated with MCM8/MCM9 ...
