Cytotoxic Dihydrothiophene-Condensed Chromones from Marine-Derived Fungus Penicillium oxalicum

Planta Medica, 2012
Two new dihydrothiophene-condensed chromones and a new natural chromone, namely oxalicumones A-C (1-3), respectively, were isolated from a culture broth of a marine-derived fungus Penicillium oxalicum SCSGAF 0023, Meripilaceae family. The structures of 1-3 and acetylated derivatives of 1 (4-7) were elucidated on the basis of spectroscopic methods and ...

Antiangiogenic Metabolites from a Marine-Derived Fungus, Hypocrea vinosa

Journal of Natural Products, 2010
The aims of this study were to investigate the role of tyrosine kinase in intracellular signaling and to search for lead compounds with tyrosine kinase inhibitory activity from metabolites of marine-derived fungi. We initially prepared 400 extracts from 200 species of marine fungi and then subjected them to a tyrosine kinase screening assay using human

Isocoumarin derivatives from the marine-derived fungus Phoma sp. 135

Tetrahedron Letters, 2016
Abstract The dihydro-isocoumarin derivatives 1 – 2 were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Phoma sp. 135. Structural elucidation was achieved through extensive spectroscopic evaluation including 1D- and 2D-NMR, accurate mass measurements, and single crystal X-ray diffraction analysis. We report herein the structure and absolute configuration

New pyridone alkaloids from marine-derived fungus Penicillium sp.

Tetrahedron Letters, 2020
Abstract Five new pyridone alkaloids Citridones H-L (1–5) along with one new natural product ent-Citridone A (6) were isolated from the marine-derived fungus Penicillium sp. XZD3-3, which came from the gut of a marine shrimp. The structures and absolute configurations of these compounds were elucidated on the basis of NMR, HRESIMS, UV, modified ...

New β-Lactone with Tea Pathogenic Fungus Inhibitory Effect from Marine-Derived Fungus MCCC3A00957

Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry, 2019
Fusarium solani H915 (MCCC3A00957), a fungus originating from mangrove sediment, showed potent inhibitory activity against tea pathogenic fungus Pestalotiopsis theae. Successive chromatographic separation on an ethyl acetate (EtOAc) extract of F. solani H915 resulted in the isolation of five new alkenoic diacid derivatives: fusarilactones A-C (1-3 ...

Two New Sesterterpenes from Marine-Derived Fungus Arthrinium sp.

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2019
Two new sesterterpenes together with related known terpestacin were isolated from the cultural broth of a marine fungal strain (5XNZ5-4) that lives in the gut of a marine crab. The new compounds were identified on the basis of analyses of NMR and mass spectral data. This is the first report on the oxidative derivatives of terpestacin. The new compounds

Three xanthones from a marine-derived mangrove endophytic fungus

Chemistry of Natural Compounds, 2007
Three xanthones were produced from the marine-derived endophytic fungus isolate 1850 from a leaf of Kandelia candel from an estuarine mangrove in Hong Kong. Their structures were elucidated as sterigmatocystin (1), dihydrosterigmatocystin (2), and secosterigmatocystin (3) by analysis of spectroscopic data.

Antimicrobial metabolites from the marine-derived fungus Aspergillus sp. ZZ1861

Phytochemistry
Fungi from the genus Aspergillus are important resources for the discovery of bioactive agents. This investigation characterized the isolation, structural elucidation, and antimicrobial evaluation of 46 metabolites produced by the marine-derived fungus Aspergillus sp. ZZ1861 in rice solid and potato dextrose broth liquid media.
