Integrated Multi-Omics Analysis Reveals Complex Cytotoxicity-Associated Molecular Response Patterns of Representative Toxins from Four Classes of Lipophilic Algal Toxins in Neuro-2a Cells. [PDF]

open access: yesToxins (Basel)
Lipophilic marine toxins (LMTs) are important toxic risk factors in marine ecosystems and seafood safety, yet the comparative cytotoxicity-associated molecular responses of different LMT classes remain unclear.

Degradable Magnetic Composites from Recycled NdFeB Magnets for Soft Actuation and Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
This work presents a degradable soft magnetic composite made from recycled NdFeB particles embedded in a gelatin‐based organogel. The material is processed into magnetic sensors and soft robotic components, which can later be dissolved in a green solvent to recover NdFeB magnetic particles.

Palytoxin and Analogs: Biological and Ecological Effects

open access: yesMarine Drugs, 2010
Palytoxin (PTX) is a potent marine toxin that was originally found in soft corals from tropical areas of the Pacific Ocean. Soon after, its occurrence was observed in numerous other marine organisms from the same ecological region. More recently, several

Nanowires Reinforce Oriented Macroporous Aerogels for Rapid Uranium Removal from Acidic Radioactive Wastewater

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A “reinforced concrete” structural aerogel with directional microchannels is engineered for rapid uranium capture. The interconnected architecture enables ultrafast water permeation, and the nanowire reinforcement yields a 70‐fold increase in mechanical strength.
