An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

Gombarezisztencia gének térképezése szőlőben = Mapping resistance genes against fungi in grapevine [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Lisztharmat (PM) és peronoszpóra (DM) rezisztencia génekkel kapcsolt markerek szelekcióra való alkalmasságát vizsgáltuk szőlő inter-és intraspecifikus térképezési populációiban.

Validation and implementation of marker-assisted selection (MAS) for the leafing date trait in Persian walnut populations from Iran

open access: yesEuphytica, 2023
Abstract The development of late-leafing genotypes is the greatest strategy to deal with the late-spring frosts (LSFs). Due to the long breeding cycle, marker-assisted selection (MAS) is a fast strategy for screening walnut populations in breeding programs.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Use of QTL detected for resistance to Phytophthora in Theobroma cacao L. [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
In the framework of a CAOBISCO sponsored project the genetic bases of resistance to several species of Phytophthora have been studied. Different significant QTL identified make it possible to accumulate various genes to improve varietal resistance ...

Prolactin promoter gene as marker assisted selection (MAS) for the control of broodiness of Kampung chicken

open access: yesJurnal Ilmu Ternak dan Veteriner, 2014
Preliminary research about MAS (Marker Assisted Selection) was conducted to detect broodiness trait of Kampung chicken. MAS currently is very important in situations, where the accuracy of selection is low, such as, traits with low heritability, e.g. broodiness trait and egg production.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.
