Construction of an integrated consensus map of the Apple genome based on four mapping populations [PDF]
An integrated consensus genetic map for apple was constructed on the basis of segregation data from four genetically connected crosses (C1¿=¿Discovery × TN10-8, C2¿=¿Fiesta × Discovery, C3¿=¿Discovery × Prima, C4¿=¿Durello di Forli × Fiesta) with a total

Handling Marker-Marker Linkage Disequilibrium: Pedigree Analysis with Clustered Markers [PDF]
Single-nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) are rapidly replacing microsatellites as the markers of choice for genetic linkage studies and many other studies of human pedigrees. Here, we describe an efficient approach for modeling linkage disequilibrium (LD) between markers during multipoint analysis of human pedigrees.

Restriction Fragment Length Polymorphism Linkage Map for Arabidopsis thaliana [PDF]
We have constructed a restriction fragment length polymorphism linkage map for the nuclear genome of the flowering plant Arabidopsis thaliana. The map, containing 90 randomly distributed molecular markers, is physically very dense; >50% of the genome is ...

Frontotemporal Dementia (FTD) is a focal neurodegenerative disease, with a strong genetic background, that causes early onset dementia. The present knowledge about the risk loci and causative mutations of FTD mainly derives from genetic linkage analysis,

Expression of TIM3/VISTA checkpoints and the CD68 macrophage-associated marker correlates with anti-PD1/PDL1 resistance: implications of immunogram heterogeneity. [PDF]
Although immunotherapies have achieved remarkable salutary effects among subgroups of advanced cancers, most patients do not respond. We comprehensively evaluated biomarkers associated with the "cancer-immunity cycle" in the pan-cancer setting in order ...

Clinical Behaviour of Prostatic Specific Antigen and Prostatic Acid Phosphatase: A Comparative Study
We assayed prostatic specific antigen (PSA) and prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) serum levels in 1383 patients using a double antibody radioimmunoassay (RIA) I 125 .

Serum CA 15.3, CEA and ESR Patterns in Breast Cancer
Serum CA 15.3, CEA and ESR were longitudinally determined in 298 patients with breast cancer during postsurgical follow-up and/or therapy. Observation lasted until the death of the patient or at least for three years.

Evaluation of Specific Antigen and Prostatic Acid Phosphatase Specificity. Study of False Values
We assayed prostatic specific antigen (PSA) and prostatic acid phosphatase (PAP) serum levels in 1305 subjects without malignant prostatic pathology by double antibody RIA I 125 to evaluate their specifity.

Biomarker Exploration in Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells for Monitoring Sulforaphane Treatment Responses in Autism Spectrum Disorder [PDF]
Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) is one of the most common neurodevelopmental disorders with no drugs treating the core symptoms and no validated biomarkers for clinical use.

ABSTRACT We sought to identify potential early risk biomarkers for lung disease in children post‐allogeneic HCT. Patients with pulmonary function tests 3 months post‐transplant and plasma samples between days 7 and 14 post‐HCT were included. Six of 27 subjects enrolled had reduced forced expiratory volume 1 (FEV1) z scores.
