Safety of Daprodustat for the Treatment of Chronic Kidney Disease Anemia: Final Analysis of a Multicenter Postmarketing Surveillance Study in Japan

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction This final analysis of a multicenter, prospective postmarketing surveillance study evaluated the safety of daprodustat in patients with chronic kidney disease anemia in routine clinical practice in Japan. Methods Patients who initiated daprodustat between September 2020 and July 2022 were registered.

The Assembly of Supermassive Black Holes at z < 1 in Early-type Galaxies from Scaling Relations

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
The assembly of supermassive black hole (SMBH) mass ( M _• ) and stellar mass ( M _* ) in galaxies can be studied via the redshift evolution of the M _• – M _* relation, but the ways in which selection bias and physical assembly channels affect this ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Epigenetic blind spots – the role of DNA methylation dynamics in stem cell‐based models of embryogenesis

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Impact of Higher Harmonics of Gravitational Radiation on the Population Inference of Binary Black Holes

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal
Templates modeling just the dominant mode of gravitational radiation are generally sufficient for the unbiased parameter inference of near-equal-mass compact binary mergers.

MASS-DEPENDENT BARYON ACOUSTIC OSCILLATION SIGNAL AND HALO BIAS [PDF]

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 2013
We characterize the baryon acoustic oscillations (BAO) feature in halo two-point statistics using N-body simulations. We find that nonlinear damping of the BAO signal is less severe for halos in the mass range we investigate than for dark matter. The amount of damping depends weakly on the halo mass. The correlation functions show a mass-dependent drop

The human gut microbiome across the life course

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Despite significant individual variation and continuous change throughout life, the human gut microbiome follows some life stage‐specific trends. This article provides a brief overview of how gut microbiome composition shifts across different phases of life. Created in BioRender. Özkurt, E. (2026) https://BioRender.com/8q4nrnc.

Directional miscentring dependence in weak lensing mass bias

open access: yesMonthly Notices of the Royal Astronomical Society: Letters
ABSTRACT Galaxy cluster masses estimated from parametric modelling of weak lensing shear observations are known to be biased by inaccuracies in observationally determined centres. It has recently been shown that such systematic effects can be non-isotropic when centres are derived from X-ray or Compton-Y (Sunyaev–Zeldovich effect ...
