On the Effective Mass of the Electron Neutrino in Beta Decay
In the presence of mixing between massive neutrino states, the distortion of the electron spectrum in beta decay is, in general, a function of several masses and mixing angles.

Mass spectrometry based identification of AMP‐O‐Tris generated by Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10
Isolated Thermococcus onnurineus Cas10 generates the noncanonical ATP‐derived product AMP‐O‐Tris while in Tris‐containing buffer as identified via mass spectrometry, revealing relaxed nucleophile selectivity under isolated conditions. These findings suggest that multiprotein Csm complex assembly restricts Cas10 reactivity toward canonical cyclic ...

Mass spectrum of gapped, non-confining theories with multi-scale dynamics
We study the mass spectrum of spin-0 and spin-2 composite states in a one-parameter family of three-dimensional field theories by making use of their dual descriptions in terms of supergravity.

Mass function of haloes: scale invariant models [PDF]
Press-Schechter theory gives a simple, approximate functional form of the mass function of dark matter haloes. Sheth and Tormen (ST) refined this mass function to give an improved analytical fit to results of N-body simulations.

Derivation and characterization of retinal pigment epithelium from urine‐derived iPSCs
Age‐related macular degeneration causes vision loss via RPE dysfunction and loss. Traditional iPSC therapies rely on invasive biopsies, limiting scalability. Here, we utilize urine‐derived stem cells as an accessible source to generate u‐iPSCs, successfully differentiated into pigmented RPE. This “Urine‐to‐Retina” platform provides a promising path for

Study of the decay phi--> f0(980)g --> pi+pi-g with the KLOE detector
We measured, with the KLOE detector, the spectrum of pi+pi- invariant mass in a sample of 6.7 x 10^5 e+e- --> pi+pi-g events with the photon at large polar angle (theta_g>45^o) at a centre of mass energy sqrt(s) around the phi mass.

When self-similarity meets mass spectrum and anisotropy
Context. Self-similar evolution is widely used in the theory of collisional stellar dynamics, but its applicability to systems with multiple stellar masses is not well established. Aims.
