Matching Innovation System Models to Context: An Explanatory Potential Framework
Innovation system decision-making is a core component in promoting incentives and conditions necessary for the emergence of innovation. It also plays a critical role in guiding policy and modeling strategies that aim to promote science, technology, and ...

EXOSC10, an essential nuclear RNA exosome‐associated 3′‐5′ exoribonuclease, is inhibited by the anticancer drug 5‐fluorouracil (5‐FU), and EXOSC10 depletion increases 5‐FU sensitivity. The colon‐cancer variant EXOSC10S402T, located in a proteolysis motif, is stable and nuclear but nonfunctional in vivo.

Testing theories of labour market matching [PDF]
This paper estimates a model of two-sided search using micro-level data for a well-defined labour market. It examines the assumption of random matching and contrasts it with the stock-flow (or non-random) matching model of Coles and collaborators.

RNA profiling of circulating extracellular vesicles (EVs) from blood samples of men undergoing prostate biopsy identifies transcripts associated with clinically significant prostate cancer. Integrative analysis with public tumor datasets links EV‐derived gene signatures to tumor stage and progression‐free survival, highlighting CASP3, XRCC2, and RIT1 ...

Assortative Matching and Reputation [PDF]
Consider Becker's classic 1963 matching model, with unobserved fixed types and stochastic publicly observed output. If types are complementary, then matching is assortative in the known Bayesian posteriors (the 'reputations').

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Enhancing biomarker based oncology trial matching using large language models
Clinical trials are an essential component of drug development for new cancer treatments, yet the information required to determine a patient’s eligibility for enrollment is scattered in large amounts of unstructured text.

Circulating tumor cells (CTCs) and plasma cell‐free DNA (cfDNA) were analyzed to detect ESR1 mutations and methylation in patients with advanced breast cancer. CTC‐derived DNA showed higher sensitivity for mutation detection and revealed complementary genetic and epigenetic alterations, highlighting the added value of CTC analysis for understanding ...
