Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

A Multisource Image Matching Method Based on Contrastive Network With Similarity Weighting

open access: yesIEEE Journal of Selected Topics in Applied Earth Observations and Remote Sensing
Multisource remote sensing (MRS) image matching can provide more accurate data support for a variety of remote sensing tasks, but the disparities in imaging characteristics among different sensors bring significant challenges for effective image matching.

To maximize or randomize? An experimental study of probability matching in financial decision making.

open access: yesPLoS ONE, 2021
Probability matching, also known as the "matching law" or Herrnstein's Law, has long puzzled economists and psychologists because of its apparent inconsistency with basic self-interest.

A hierarchical Bayesian approach to record linkage and population size problems

open access: yes, 2011
We propose and illustrate a hierarchical Bayesian approach for matching statistical records observed on different occasions. We show how this model can be profitably adopted both in record linkage problems and in capture--recapture setups, where the size

Continuous Monitoring of Distributed Data Streams over a Time-based Sliding Window [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
The past decade has witnessed many interesting algorithms for maintaining statistics over a data stream. This paper initiates a theoretical study of algorithms for monitoring distributed data streams over a time-based sliding window (which contains a ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Fluxo de empregos, fluxo de trabalhadores e fluxo de postos de trabalho no Brasil

open access: yesBrazilian Journal of Political Economy, 2010
Job flows, workers flows and employment flows in Brazil. The labor market is in constant flux. When measuring labor market mobility, it is usual to estimate labor market flow statistics, such as worker reallocation and job reallocation.

Large Displacement Optical Flow Estimation Based on Robust Interpolation of Sparse Correspondences

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Recently, the interpolation of correspondences method has been widely used in optical flow estimation, because it produces an accurate flow field and costs little runtimes.

The Theory of Assortative Matching Based on Costly Signals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
We study two-sided markets with a finite numbers of agents on each side, and with two-sided incomplete information. Agents are matched assortatively on the basis of costly signals.
