Valosin‐containing protein counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its ATPase activity in vitro

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

On linearity of separating multi-particle differential Schr\"odinger operators for identical particles

open access: yes, 2004
We show that hierarchies of differential Schroedinger operators for identical particles which are separating for the usual (anti-)symmetric tensor product, are necessarily linear, and offer some speculations on the source of quantum linearity.Comment: As

The Heisenberg Relation - Mathematical Formulations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
We study some of the possibilities for formulating the Heisenberg relation of quantum mechanics in mathematical terms. In particular, we examine the framework discussed by Murray and von Neumann, the family (algebra) of operators affiliated with a finite

A New Modification of Baskakov–Schurer–Stancu Operators: Weighted and Pointwise Approximation Theories

open access: yesMathematics
The behavior of a new modification of operators of the Baskakov–Schurer–Stancu variant is discussed in this study. First, we establish certain necessary moment and central moment estimates.

Evolutionary sequential genetic search technique-based cancer classification using fuzzy rough nearest neighbour classifier

open access: yesHealthcare Technology Letters, 2018
Cancer is one of the deadly diseases of human life. The patient may likely to survive if the disease is diagnosed in its early stages. In this Letter, the authors propose a genetic search fuzzy rough (GSFR) feature selection algorithm, which is ...

Analysis of series RL and RC circuits with time-invariant source using truncated M, Atangana beta and conformable derivatives

open access: yesJournal of Ocean Engineering and Science, 2021
Complex processes of the physical world require novel and sophisticated mathematical notions to get deep insights. In this research analysis, two standard mathematical models for the series RL and RC circuits having time-invariant sources taken from the ...

Residual tail twisting in ascidian larvae is stabilized by asymmetric myofibrils that resist bilateral symmetry restoration

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Ascidian Ciona larvae initially show strong clockwise tail twisting, which is largely corrected during development. However, a small residual twist remains. This study shows that organized helical myofibrils in tail muscles mechanically stabilize this residual asymmetry, preventing complete restoration of bilateral symmetry and revealing how embryos ...

The kernel of the edth operators on higher-genus spacelike two-surfaces [PDF]

open access: yes, 2000
The dimension of the kernels of the edth and edth-prime operators on closed, orientable spacelike 2-surfaces with arbitrary genus is calculated, and some of its mathematical and physical consequences are discussed.Comment: 12 ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

Cauchy-type integrals in several complex variables [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
We present the theory of Cauchy-Fantappi\'e integral operators, with emphasis on the situation when the domain of integration, $D$, has minimal boundary regularity.
