Generalized k-Fractional Chebyshev-Type Inequalities via Mittag-Leffler Functions

open access: yesAxioms, 2022
Mathematical inequalities have gained importance and popularity due to the application of integral operators of different types. The present paper aims to give Chebyshev-type inequalities for generalized k-integral operators involving the Mittag-Leffler ...

Current Tracking Adaptive Control of Brushless DC Motors

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
In this paper, the current tracking for Brushless Direct Current motors is approached considering uncertainty in the parameters of the motor's model. An adaptive control scheme to compensate electrical parameters uncertainty is proposed without requiring any knowledge of the mechanical parameters.

Operational Calculus of the Quantum Statistical Fermi–Dirac and Bose–Einstein Functions Leading to the Novel Fractional Kinetic Equations

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
The sun is a fundamental element of the natural environment, and kinetic equations are crucial mathematical models for determining how quickly the chemical composition of a star like the sun is changing. Taking motivation from these facts, we develop and

An Adaptive Human Pilot Model With Reaction Time Delay for Enhanced Adaptive Control in Piloted Systems

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
This work introduces an adaptive human pilot model that captures pilot time‐delay effects in adaptive control systems. The model enables the prediction of pilot–controller interactions, facilitating safer integration and improved design of adaptive controllers for piloted applications.

Quantale Modules and their Operators, with Applications

open access: yes, 2009
The central topic of this work is the categories of modules over unital quantales. The main categorical properties are established and a special class of operators, called Q-module transforms, is defined.

Notes on Higher-Spin Diffeomorphisms

open access: yesUniverse, 2021
Higher-spin diffeomorphisms are to higher-order differential operators what diffeomorphisms are to vector fields. Their rigorous definition is a challenging mathematical problem which might predate a better understanding of higher-spin symmetries and ...

A Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller

open access: yesInternational Journal of Adaptive Control and Signal Processing, EarlyView.
Block Diagram of the Robust Adaptive One‐Sample‐Ahead Preview Super‐Twisting Sliding Mode Controller. ABSTRACT This article introduces a discrete‐time robust adaptive one‐sample‐ahead preview super‐twisting sliding mode controller. A stability analysis of the controller by Lyapunov criteria is developed to demonstrate its robustness in handling both ...

An Application of Multiple Erdélyi–Kober Fractional Integral Operators to Establish New Inequalities Involving a General Class of Functions

open access: yesFractal and Fractional
This research aims to develop generalized fractional integral inequalities by utilizing multiple Erdélyi–Kober (E–K) fractional integral operators. Using a set of j, with (j∈N) positively continuous and decaying functions in the finite interval a≤t≤x ...

Enhancing Corrosion Resistance and Mechanical Strength of 3D‐Printed Iron Polylactic Acid for Marine Applications via Laser Surface Texturing

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Laser surface texturing significantly improves the corrosion resistance and mechanical strength of 3D‐printed iron polylactic acid (Ir‐PLA) for marine applications. Optimal laser parameters reduce corrosion by 80% and enhance tensile strength by 25% and ductility by 15%.

Quantitative bounds on the discrete spectrum of non self-adjoint quantum magnetic Hamiltonians [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
We establish Lieb-Thirring type inequalities for non self-adjoint relatively compact perturbations of certain operators of mathematical physics. We apply our results to quantum Hamiltonians of Schr{\"o}dinger and Pauli with constant magnetic field of ...
