Non- Sensitive Matrix Pencil method against mutual coupling

open access: yesIEICE Electronics Express, 2011
A new Matrix Pencil (MP) method including mutual coupling effects based on a Uniform Linear Array (ULA) is presented. By setting a group of elements as auxiliary on each side of the ULA, it can accurately estimate the Direction of Arrival (DOA) using a single snapshot of data and the effect of mutual coupling can be eliminated by the inherent mechanism

Multi-Object Feature Extraction in Resonance Region Based on Short-Time Matrix Pencil Method

open access: yesRemote Sensing
As an intrinsic characteristic of the target, the pole characteristic of the resonant region is solely determined by the target itself and remains invariant with respect to external factors such as the incident direction and polarization of ...

Matrix Pencil Method for Estimation of Parameters of Vector Processes

open access: yesBulletin of the South Ural State University. Series "Mathematical Modelling, Programming and Computer Software", 2017
Summary: The paper considers one of the modern parametric methods of signal processing -- the matrix pencil method (MPM). The method makes it possible to effectively estimate signal parameters from its samples which is the sum of complex exponentials.

A New Jammer Suppression Method in MIMO Radar Using Matrix Pencil Method and Generalized Likelihood Ratio Test

open access: yesInternational Journal of Antennas and Propagation, 2015
We propose a new algorithm to suppress the jammer signals and estimate the direction of arrival (DOA) of the signal of interest (SOI) for collocated MIMO radar by using the matrix pencil method (MPM) and the generalized likelihood ratio test (GLRT).

Design of random and sparse metalens with matrix pencil method

open access: yesOptics Express, 2018
We propose a matrix pencil method for designing one- or two- dimensional (1D or 2D) metalenses with randomly distributed meta-atoms. In contrast to the standard random synthesis algorithm that only randomizes the position of the meta-atoms, the proposed method designs both the position and phase of each meta-atom rigorously.

Decoupled Estimation of 2D DOA for Coherently Distributed Sources Using 3D Matrix Pencil Method

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2008
A new 2D DOA estimation method for coherently distributed (CD) source is proposed. CD sources model is constructed by using Taylor approximation to the generalized steering vector (GSV), whereas the angular and angular spread are separated from signal ...

Super-Resolution Processing for Multiple Aperture Antenna to Suppress Multipath

open access: yesMathematics
Angle estimation for low-altitude targets above the sea surface is a challenging problem due to multipath interference from surface reflection signals, and various approaches have been proposed.

Adaptive Unscented Kalman Filter Phase Unwrapping Method and Its Application on Gaofen-3 Interferometric SAR Data

open access: yesSensors, 2018
Phase unwrapping (PU) is a key step in the reconstruction of digital elevation models (DEMs) and the monitoring of surface deformation from interferometric synthetic aperture radar (SAR, InSAR) data.

Diagnosis of induction motor stator faults around rotor slot harmonics using the Matrix Pencil method

open access: yesResults in Engineering
To improve the monitoring and diagnosis of stator faults at their early stages in induction motors, several methods have been developed, particularly parametric methods. This article thus proposes a new approach based on the Matrix Pencil method for high-
