Recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming and confer resistance to targeted therapies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We show that the majority of the 18 analyzed recurrent cancer‐associated ERBB4 mutations are transforming. The most potent mutations are activating, co‐operate with other ERBB receptors, and are sensitive to pan‐ERBB inhibitors. Activating ERBB4 mutations also promote therapy resistance in EGFR‐mutant lung cancer.

A Vision Based Top-View Transformation Model for a Vehicle Parking Assistant

open access: yesSensors, 2012
This paper proposes the Top-View Transformation Model for image coordinate transformation, which involves transforming a perspective projection image into its corresponding bird’s eye vision.

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.

On the use of load-transformation matrices when working with internal wind tunnel balances [PDF]

open access: yesFME Transactions, 2015
Internal wind tunnel balances are often classified by the design as 'force', 'moment' or 'direct-read' balances. Only the direct-read balances can immediately yield the total loads; with other designs, balance-type-specific transformations of actually ...

On Linear Hamiltonian Systems

open access: yesMATEC Web of Conferences, 2017
In this paper we consider the normalization of quadratic Hamiltonian. We get the new method to find the generating function of the canonical transformation. We obtain the solution of the system of matrix equations to find this transformation.

Targeting p38α in cancer: challenges, opportunities, and emerging strategies

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
p38α normally regulates cellular stress responses and homeostasis and suppresses malignant transformation. In cancer, however, p38α is co‐opted to drive context‐dependent proliferation and dissemination. p38α also supports key functions in cells of the tumor microenvironment, including fibroblasts, myeloid cells, and T lymphocytes.

Analysis of G-Transformation Modes for Building Neuro-like Parallel–Hierarchical Network Identification of Rail Surface Defects

open access: yesMathematics
This work presents the construction of a transformation for the identification of surface defects on rails, starting with the selection of elements from the matrix and the creation of different matrices. It further elaborates on the recursive formulation

Transformation of QTL genotypic effects to allelic effects

open access: yesGenetics Selection Evolution, 2005
The genotypic and allelic effect models are equivalent in terms of QTL detection in a simple additive model, but the QTL allelic model has the advantage of providing direct information for marker-assisted selection.

Matrix Transformations and Generalized Almost Convergence II

open access: yesCommunications, Faculty Of Science, University of Ankara Series A1Mathematics and Statistics, 1978
Recently M. Stieglitz introduced the concept of Fg -convergence of sequcnce and generalized the results of Eizen and Laush, King, and Shaefer for more general classes of matrices. Quite recently Ahmad and Mursaleen have extended the space Fg of Fg - convergent sequences to Fg (p).
