MC-LMAC: A Multi-Channel MAC Protocol for Wireless Sensor Networks [PDF]
In traditional wireless sensor network (WSN) applications, energy efficiency is considered to be the most important concern whereas utilizing the use of bandwidth and maximizing the throughput are of secondary importance.

EXIT-chart aided hybrid multiuser detector design for frequency-domain-spread chip-interleaved MC-CDMA [PDF]
With the advent of EXtrinsic Information Transfer (EXIT) charts, we are capable of analyzing, predicting and visually comparing the convergence behaviours of different turbo Multi-User Detector (MUD)s. The different MUDs have diverse EXIT characteristics

Cracking the Code: Genotype–Phenotype Correlation Models in Sarcoglycanopathies
ABSTRACT Objective Sarcoglycanopathies are among the most severe limb‐girdle muscular dystrophies (LGMD), though milder presentations have been described. These diseases are primarily caused by missense variants, but the limited predictability of their effect on protein maturation, complex formation, and transport has hindered reliable genotype ...

Generic Reduced-Complexity MMSE Channel Estimation for OFDM and MC-CDMA
The performance of a decision-directed channel estimation scheme is analyzed in the context of both OFDM and MC-CDMA systems. A difficulty associated with the employment of the Least Squares (LS) approach to the problem of a posteriori channel estimation

SPG4 and Dementia: Expanding the Clinical Spectrum
ABSTRACT Objective Hereditary spastic paraplegia (HSP) is a group of disorders characterized by progressive spasticity and lower limb weakness, with mutations in SPG4/SPAST being the most common cause. Detailed studies and clinical and molecular comparisons across different populations are missing.

This paper is devoted to the imposition of some chain conditions on groups having a generalized central series. It is also given a characterization of MC-groups with finite abelian section rank: such class of groups is a suitable enlargement of the class of FC-groups.

ABSTRACT Objective To (1) validate GAD65‐ELISA detection and quantification for type 1 diabetes mellitus and autoimmune neurological diagnoses, (2) correlate ELISA results (reference range < 5 IU/mL) with established radioimmunoprecipitation assay (RIA; ≤ 0.02 nmol/L), and (3) define ELISA clinical utility and pitfalls.

ABSTRACT Background X‐linked adrenoleukodystrophy (X‐ALD) is a neurometabolic disorder caused by pathogenic variants in ABCD1, leading to slowly progressive spinal cord disease in nearly all affected men. Sensitive biomarkers to quantify disease severity and predict progression are needed for clinical care and trial design.
