Gut microbiota diversity is prognostic in metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer patients receiving chemotherapy and immunotherapy

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this exploratory study, we investigated the relationship between the gut microbiota and outcome in patients with metastatic hormone receptor‐positive breast cancer, treated in a randomized clinical trial with chemotherapy alone or chemotherapy in combination with immune checkpoint blockade.

Measurement error, GLMs, and notational conventions [PDF]

open access: yes
This paper introduces additive measurement error in a generalized linear-model context. We discuss the types of measurement error along with their effects on fitted models.

In vitro properties of patient serum predict clinical outcome after high dose rate brachytherapy of hepatocellular carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Following high dose rate brachytherapy (HDR‐BT) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), patients were classified as responders and nonresponders. Post‐therapy serum induced increased BrdU incorporation and Cyclin E expression of Huh7 and HepG2 cells in nonresponders, but decreased levels in responders.

Permissible Maximum Errors of Measurement Instruments in Metering Systems of Fluids [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, 2014
The control and calibration of measuring instruments installed in dynamic metering station must have a good understanding of the evaluation and validation method of the error.

Covariate Measurement Error:Bias Reduction under Response-based Sampling [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we propose a general framework to deal with the presence of covariate measurement error (CME) in response-based (RB) samples. Using Chesher’s (1991) methodology, we obtain a small error variance approximation for the contaminated sampling ...

Inhibition of CDK9 enhances AML cell death induced by combined venetoclax and azacitidine

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The CDK9 inhibitor AZD4573 downregulates c‐MYC and MCL‐1 to induce death of cytarabine (AraC)‐resistant AML cells. This enhances VEN + AZA‐induced cell death significantly more than any combination of two of the three drugs in AraC‐resistant AML cells.

渐开线测量蜗杆误差补偿原理的研究

open access: yesJixie chuandong, 2001
It is essence of gear integrated error measurement to obtain gear error information by measuring gear tuming angle variation on the base of single-flank engagement between the measurement worm and the gear. The error of measurement worm is the key factor

A synthetic benzoxazine dimer derivative targets c‐Myc to inhibit colorectal cancer progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Benzoxazine dimer derivatives bind to the bHLH‐LZ region of c‐Myc, disrupting c‐Myc/MAX complexes, which are evaluated from SAR analysis. This increases ubiquitination and reduces cellular c‐Myc. Impairing DNA repair mechanisms is shown through proteomic analysis.
