Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Supramolecular assembly and mechanical properties of dermis
The present work is a part of a wider research project which aims at the in vitro tissues and biohybrid generation. The process of generating biological tissues requires benchmarks in order to define the optimal set of design and performance parameters ...

Micro-mechanical model of a single crystal nickel-based superalloy [PDF]
A multi-scale micro-mechanical model for a nickel-base superalloy is presented. The model takes into account the multiphase character of the material and is thus able to predict the effect of microstructure morphology on the macroscopic material response.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Thermo-hygro-chemo-mechanical model of concrete at early ages and its extension to tumor growth numerical analysis. [PDF]
The aim of the PhD thesis is the development of two multiphase models from a common theoretical basis, applied to two very different research fields: i) the study of the behavior of concrete at early ages, essentially for the prevention of cracking and ...

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
