Two-Stage Discrete Mechanical Modelin Three-Dimensional Spacefor Garmentsimulation
This paper focuses on the better performance between the garment simulation result and the simulation speed. For simplicity and clarity, a notation “PART” is defined to indicate the areas between the garment and the human body satisfying some constraints.

Phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinase as a target of pathogens—friend or foe?
This graphical summary illustrates the roles of phosphatidylinositol 4‐kinases (PI4Ks). PI4Ks regulate key cellular processes and can be hijacked by pathogens, such as viruses, bacteria and parasites, to support their intracellular replication. Their dual role as essential host enzymes and pathogen cofactors makes them promising drug targets.

Modeling of human center of pressure using a viscoelastic-supported inverted pendulum
Preventing falls is crucial for the elderly, and as an initial step, accurately quantifying their current balance abilities is essential. In this regard, the Center of Pressure (COP) has gained attention.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Application and Node Mechanics Analysis of Sucker Rod Pump Injection-production System
To achieve effective production stabilization and water-cut control in extra-high water-cut wells, a sucker rod pump injection-production system has been designed. The system uses gravity to separate the oil and water in the downhole. The separated water

Failure depths of stope floors under dynamic loading induced by roof breaking
ObjectiveAccurately assessing the failure depths of stope floors is crucial for assessing floor water inrush risks. Conventional theoretical models for calculating the failure depths generally merely consider static loads from the support pressure and ...
