Mechanical performance of acetate lacquer from acacia mangium [PDF]
Cellulose comprises about 40–50 % of the composition of wood, making it one of the most abundant organic polymers on earth. Cellulose is very versatile in terms of application, with a wide array of products fabricated, including the chemically modified ...

Mechanical performance and fracture behavior of Fe₄₁Co₇Cr₁₅Mo₁₄Y₂C₁₅B₆ bulk metallic glass
The mechanical properties of a new Fe₄₁Co₇Cr₁₅Mo₁₄Y₂C₁₅B₆ bulk glassy alloy were studied by impact bending, compression, and hardness tests carried out at room temperature.

Hyperosmotic stress induces PARP1‐mediated HPF1‐dependent mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation
Sorbitol‐induced hyperosmotic stress rapidly induces reversible mono(ADP‐ribosyl)ation (MARylation) on PARP1 without the signs of genotoxic signaling. We show that PARP1 autoMARylation is HPF1 dependent and forms hydroxylamine‐resistant O‐glycosidic linkages.

Superior compressive properties of 3D printed plate lattice mechanical metamaterials
Over the past decades, the demand for high-performance materials with lightweight and enhanced mechanical properties has gradually increased. The cellular structure, theoretically excellent mechanical performance, and tunable low density make the lattice

An isoform of 14‐3‐3 protein regulates transbilayer lipid movement at the plasma membrane
Loss of 14‐3‐3ζ in CHO cells confers resistance to exogenous phosphatidylserine (PS) and impairs endocytosis‐independent inward flip‐flop of fluorescent PS at the plasma membrane. RNAi‐mediated knockdown reproduces this defect, while no additive effect is seen in ATP11C‐deficient cells.

An Autonomous Mobile Measurement Method for Key Feature Points in Complex Aircraft Assembly Scenes
Large-scale measurement of key feature points (KFPs) on an aircraft is essential for coordinated movement of locators, which is critical to the final assembly accuracy.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.
