This review examines the character and function of the microRNA miR396, which helps plants balance growth, reproduction, regeneration, and survival under various stresses, highlighting recent progress and evidence that this pathway shapes crop yield, pest and disease resistance, and tissue regeneration, making it a promising target for precision crop ...

Nodules of Medicago spp. Host a Diverse Community of Rhizobial Species in Natural Ecosystems
Biological nitrogen fixation by rhizobia-nodulated legumes reduces the dependence on synthetic nitrogen fertilizers. Identification of locally adapted rhizobia may uncover economically valuable strains for sustainable agriculture. This study investigated

CryoFluorSEM – A new approach for fluorescence and EM imaging of cryofractured plant samples
Abstract Cryo‐scanning electron microscopy (CryoSEM) permits the preparation and detailed imaging of bulky samples while keeping them in a hydrated state. For plant biology, cryofractures give information on cell ultrastructure and tissue organisation within a much larger context that is the whole organ or organism.

ABSTRACT Over the last decades, the population of pet rabbits in Europe has increased significantly, but to date studies into feeding management of these species have been mainly conducted in production animals. This study aimed to evaluate the feeding practices of both pet rabbit owners and hobby breeders in Germany and how these may affect animal ...

CNGCs in Marchantia paleacea uncouple arbuscular mycorrhizal symbiosis and rhizoid development
Rhizoid growth and AM fungal infection are uncoupled. Summary In Marchantia paleacea, MpaDMI1‐dependent nuclear Ca2+ oscillations are essential for arbuscular mycorrhizal (AM) fungal colonisation, indicating that endosymbiosis‐mediated nuclear Ca2+ signalling is a conserved feature of land plant–AM symbiosis.
