Fractionation of polar compounds from crude oils by hetero-medium pressure liquid chromatography (H-MPLC) and molecular characterization by ultrahigh-resolution mass spectrometry

, 2020
Polar compounds from three Brazilian crude oils were isolated and separated into seven fractions according to the polarity (low polarity-LP, low medium polarity-LMP, high medium polarity-HMP, high polarity-HP, basic-BAS, acidic-AC) by using hetero-medium

Isolation and purity determination of a glycoprotein elicitor from wheat stem rust by medium-pressure liquid chromatography

Journal of Chromatography A, 1990
Abstract Previously the isolation of a single glycoprotein (pgt-elicitor) from cell walls of the phytopathogenic fungus Puccinia graminis f.sp. tritici Erics. & Henn., which elicits defence reactions in wheat leaves was described. The apparent molecular mass of this compound, isolated via concanavalin A affinity chromatography and anion-exchange ...

Compound class separation of complex hydrocarbon mixtures by low and medium pressure liquid solid chromatography

Chromatographia, 1975
A general method is described for the separation of compound classes present in the mixtures of saturated and aromatic hydrocarbons. The method is utilizing low and medium pressure elution liquid-solid chromatography (LSC) on alumina or silica and is applicable to a large number of petroleum and condensate distillates, as well as to synthetic ...

PREPARATIVE SEPARATION OF CHROMONES IN PLANT EXTRACT OF SAPOSHNIKOVIA DIVARICATA BY REVERSE-PHASE MEDIUM-PRESSURE LIQUID CHROMATOGRAPHY AND HIGH PERFORMANCE COUNTER-CURRENT CHROMATOGRAPHY

Journal of Liquid Chromatography & Related Technologies, 2012
Five known chromones were isolated and purified from Saposhnikovia divaricata for the first time by a combination of reverse-phase medium-pressure liquid chromatography (RP-MPLC) and high performance counter-current chromatography (HPCCC). The n-butanol extracts of S.

Chemical stability of mitomycin C in culture medium with and without fetal calf serum as determined by high pressure liquid chromatography and mass spectrometry

Archives of Environmental Contamination and Toxicology, 1986
Mitomycin C (MMC), a known mutagen and positive control chemical forin vitro mutagen assays, reacted with components of culture medium containing antibiotics with and without fetal calf serum within 30 min incubation at 38°C. The amount of MMC in medium with fetal calf serum was reduced by 29% after 30 min and by 53% after 60 min incubation.

Determination of ethylenethiourea (ETU) and propylenethiourea (PTU) in foods by high performance liquid chromatography–atmospheric pressure chemical ionisation–medium-resolution mass spectrometry

Food Additives and Contaminants, 2005
A robust and sensitive method for the determination of ethylenethiourea (ETU) and iso-propylenethiourea (i-PTU) in foods is reported. ETU and i-PTU were extracted by blending with dichloromethane (DCM) in the presence of sodium sulphate, sodium carbonate, thiourea and ascorbic acid. 2H4-ETU and n-PTU were used as internal standards.

One-step Separation and Purification of Four Phenolic Acids from Stenoloma chusanum (L.) Ching by Medium-pressure Liquid Chromatography and High-speed Counter-current Chromatography

The Natural Products Journal, 2019
Background:Stenoloma chusanum (L.) Ching is a Chinese traditional medicinal fern with high total flavonoid and total phenolic content. Traditionally, phenolic compounds were separated by using column chromatography, which is relatively inefficient.

Objective: This study aims to use an efficient method to separate natural products ...
