Food Frontiers, EarlyView.AEGC conferred substantial resistance to weight gain and reduced food intake. AEGC may alleviate LR by regulating the levels of LEP and ADP. AEGC elevated the diversity of gut microbiota and reconstructed the composition. Changes such as CAG‐873 in gut microbiota may be the reason why AEGC alleviates LR.
