Garlieb Merkeli käsitlus alglepingust ja selle kehtivusest pärisorjuse kaotamisel Balti provintsides [PDF]

open access: yesActa Historica Tallinnensia
Artiklis on lähema vaatluse alla võetud Garlieb Merkeli käsitlus alglepingust (Urvertrag), mida Merkel mõtestas ühiskonnaelu õigusliku alusena ja mis kehtestas kõigi inimeste õiguse inimlikule kohtlemisele.

Pathophysiology of merkel cell

open access: yesJournal of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, 2013
The objective of this review is to introduce Merkel cells (MCs), to provide a basic overview on the theoretical background of function, development and clinical importance of MCs. The origin of human MCs have been controversial. Some investigators believe that it is a neural crest derivate, whereas others have proposed that it is a differentiation ...

Perforated gastric metastasis of Merkel cell carcinoma: Case report and review of the literature

open access: yesHuman Pathology: Case Reports, 2017
A 53 year-old Vietnamese male presented with a complaint of a left buttock mass which had grown to 8.0 cm during the past three years. A CT scan revealed the gluteal lesion and a large mass of the stomach.

Merkel cell carcinoma appearing 9 years after kidney transplantati-on

open access: yesLiječnički vjesnik, 2023
Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a rare, highly aggressive skin cancer with neuroendocrine features. Immunosuppressants that are administered after transplantation can increase the risk of Merkel cell carcinoma.

In Situ Photopolymerization of Smectic B Liquid‐Crystalline Electrolytes from Mesogenic Phosphate–Diacrylate/Ionic Liquid Complexes for High‐Performance Soft Ionic Actuators

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A flexible liquid‐crystalline electrolyte membrane via in situ photopolymerization of a phosphate‐functionalized mesogen, ionic liquid, and diacrylate monomer is developed. The resulting smectic B (SmB)‐phase structure enables 2D ion transport with high conductivity (10−4 S cm−1).

Merkel cell carcinoma

open access: yesCellular and Molecular Life Sciences, 2008
Merkel cell carcinoma (MCC) is a highly aggressive neuroendocrine carcinoma of the skin. More than one-third of MCC patients will die from this cancer, making it twice as lethal as malignant melanoma. Despite the fact that MCC is still a very rare tumor, its incidence is rapidly increasing; the American Cancer Society estimates for 2008 almost 1,500 ...

Design and Modeling of a High‐Displacement, Skin‐Integrated Flexible Electromagnetic Actuator for Haptic Interfaces in Virtual Reality

open access: yesAdvanced Robotics Research, EarlyView.
A flexible, skin‐integrated electromagnetic actuator is developed for wearable virtual/augmented reality (VR/AR) haptic systems. A tunable design model enables control over displacement and resonance frequency. The system is validated through a custom VR application with a 6 × 4 actuator array, demonstrating real‐time, spatially targeted tactile ...
