Facilitation of the lordosis response of the female hamster (Mesocricetus auratus)
Physiology & Behavior, 1973Abstract A series of experiments investigated the facilitative effects of stimulation from the male hamster on the lordosis response of the female. Experiments 1 and 2 demonstrated that repeated exposure to copulatory stimulation increased lordosis duration of both females in natural estrus and females in induced estrus.

Chromosome replication in fibroblasts of the Syrian hamster (Mesocricetus auratus)
Chromosoma, 1981The BrdU/Hoechst 33258/Giemsa method for sub-dividing S-phase in asynchronous cell populations has been re-evaluated and modified to give better definition and more even distribution of sub-phases. A reference pattern of early-replicating euchromatic bands is given for all chromosomes at Sk2 in primary cultures of skin fibroblasts.
