MOV型SPD在交直流电压下的热量累积对比分析

MOV型SPD在运行时,一些因素会使MOV启动后的电流过大,电流发热量超出MOV热容量就会使SPD失效。国家标准中热稳定实验考查的就是MOV对于这种热量累积的耐受程度。对国家标准中关于MOV(Metal Oxide Varistor)型SPD(Surge Protective Device)的热稳定性判断条件进行试验和分析,对比了直流和交流电压两种情况下的热量累积并设计试验。把直流电和交流电热累积统一到"热阻"的概念,试验表明,直流电造成的SPD发热量比交流电造成的SPD发热量大10%。

串联补偿装置用MOV工况分析及其关键技术的研究

结合串联补偿装置的工作原理,仔细分析了金属氧化物限压器(metal oxide varistor,MOV)的工况,比较了TCSC与FSC不同构成的串联补偿装置中MOV的特点,对MOV的过电压保护和控制措施进行了较深入的讨论、总结。对设计MOV的关键技术——保护水平、能量耐受和工频电压稳定性、电流分布、特殊的短路电流释放能力等进行了深入研究。笔者根据国内某一500 kV交流电力系统串补工程的招标技术要求,设计了复合外套和瓷外套不同结构的MOV,产品通过了中国电力科学研究院的型式试验,满足工程需要。
