Ultra‐High Molecular Weight 21‐Arm Star‐Shaped Polyacrylates via Cu(0)‐RDRP

open access: yesMacromolecular Chemistry and Physics, Volume 227, Issue 3, 16 February 2026.
UHMW 21‐arm star polyacrylates are synthesized in a facile manner via Cu(0) wire‐RDRP, using a β‐cyclodextrin‐derived initiator, exhibiting low dispersity and limited star‐star coupling. End‐group fidelity is verified through in situ chain extension, while the rigid core and UHMW allow for TEM imaging of individual stars without staining.

Toward a Green Polymerization of Lignin‐Derived Monomers in Ethyl Lactate Solution or Aqueous Emulsion

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, Volume 311, Issue 2, February 2026.
Starting from lignin‐derived compounds (LDCs), a library of radically polymerizable monomers are synthesized. Biobased polymers are then prepared by free radical polymerization using industrially relevant processes: in solution (ethyl lactate) and in emulsion (water). Polymers with high thermal resistance and tunable Tgs are obtained, along with stable

Hydrogels for Cancer Immunotherapy: Strategies From Construction to Application

open access: yesMedComm, Volume 7, Issue 2, February 2026.
Hydrogels offer an innovative platform for cancer immunotherapy. Through tailorable crosslinking strategies, they form customizable drug delivery platforms that address diverse therapeutic requirements by loading specific immunotherapeutic agents. These systems demonstrate significant clinical potential for precise tumor immunotherapy.

The Prevalence and Predictors of Self‐Harm Among Young Women With Substance Use Disorder: A Cross‐Sectional Comparative Study

open access: yesProgress in Neurology and Psychiatry, Volume 30, Issue 1, February 2026.
ABSTRACT Self‐harm is a significant public health concern, particularly among young women, and is closely associated with psychiatric comorbidities and risky behaviors. This study aimed to compare the prevalence and contributing factors of self‐harm among young women with and without substance use disorder (SUD).
