Thermosensitive Nanostructured Coacervates Developed by Mixing ABA‐ and AB‐Block Copolymers and Their Unique Sustained Release of Nano‐Micelles in a Regulated Manner

open access: yesSmall, EarlyView.
Polyion complex micelles composed of blends of ABA and AB block copolymers can form coacervates with a hexagonally packed cylinder nanostructure after heating. The resulting coacervates can release the micelles under physiological conditions in a zero‐order kinetics, possessing cargo proteins.

A Second-Generation Janus Scorpionate Ligand: Controlling Coordination Modes in Iron(II) Complexes by Steric Modulation [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
The second-generation Janus scorpionate ligand [HB(mtdaMe)3−] containing methyl-mercaptothiadiazolyl (mtdaMe) heterocyclic rings and (N,N,N-) and (S,S,S-) binding pockets has been prepared. The effect of methyl substitution versus the unsubstituted first-

Metallic Axial Asymmetry in Dome‐Like Iron Porphyrins Boosts Advanced Oxidation Processes: Implication of Allosteric Effect of Heme Peroxidases

open access: yesSmall Structures, EarlyView.
A structure–activity relationship between dome‐deformation‐induced metallic axial asymmetry and catalytic efficiency in iron porphyrins was established, providing a molecular blueprint for designing high‐performance enzyme‐mimetic catalysts. The remarkable catalytic activity of heme enzymes originates from distinctive allosteric effects mediated by ...

Proximity Engineering of Fe‒N4 Twins for Oriented Generation of Singlet Oxygen for Hospital Wastewater Treatment

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 12, 16 March 2026.
Precise modulation of Fe–N4 site distances constructs spin‐regulated Fe–N4 twins, triggering a volcano‐type Fenton‐like activity and promoting oriented singlet oxygen generation. The twin‐site catalyst enables highly selective and efficient hospital wastewater purification with simultaneous pharmaceutical degradation and disinfection under low ...

Optimizing Methanol Flow Rate for Enhanced Semi-Passive Mini-Direct Methanol Fuel Cell Performance

open access: yesFuels
Direct methanol fuel cells (DMFCs) typically operate in passive mode, where methanol is distributed across the membrane electrode assembly through natural diffusion.

Comparative Pharmacokinetics of Intranasal or Intramuscular Atipamezole in Unsedated Dogs and Efficacy for Reversal of Xylazine Sedation

open access: yesJournal of Veterinary Pharmacology and Therapeutics, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The objectives of this study were to evaluate ATIP pharmacokinetics (PK) in healthy Beagle dogs after IM and IN dosing (Phase I), and to compare the rate of reversal of IM versus IN routes for xylazine (XYL) sedation (Phase II). This study was comprised of two sequential, randomized, crossover experiments. The initial PK study dosed ATIP by IN
