Exudate Flavonoids of Some Juglandaceae

open access: yesNatural Product Communications, 2009
Six species of Juglandaceae have been checked for the occurrence of flavonoid aglycones on their leaf and fruit surfaces. Except for one, they exhibit flavonols, mostly methyl ethers of kaempferol and quercetin, including 6- O -substituted derivatives ...

Chlorosulfination of Aromatic Methyl Ethers with Thionyl Chloride

open access: yes, 1985
Aromatic sulfinyl chlorides have been prepared in high yield by direct chlorosulfination of some aromatic ethers (1,3-dimethoxybenzene, 2- methyl- and 4-chloro-1,3-dimethoxybenzene, 1,2,3-trimethoxybenzene, 1- and 2-methoxynaphthalene, 1,5-, 1,7-, 2 ...

Nanozymes for Advanced Hemoglobin‐Based Oxygen Carriers: Applications in Blood Substitution, Wound Healing, Antitumor Therapy, and Beyond

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This review explores how hemoglobin‐based oxygen carriers (HBOCs) combined with nanozymes create multifunctional materials that deliver oxygen while maintaining redox homeostasis. Beyond artificial blood substitutes, these constructs enable wound healing with light‐triggered oxygen release, cancer therapy through enhanced oxygenation and reactive ...

Temporal Interference Stimulation Enhances Neural Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Temporal interference (TI) stimulation is proposed as a non‐invasive approach to enhance neural regeneration in the deep brain. Theta‐band TI modulation selectively promotes neural progenitor cell differentiation in vitro and augments hippocampal neurogenesis in amouse model of Alzheimer's disease‐like amyloidosis.

Robust and Thermally Stable Silicone Aerogels with Hyperconnected Network via Kinetically Optimized Hyperbranched Silane Precursors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Reactivity‐Programmed Assembly: A kinetic‐control strategy is reported for constructing hyperconnected silicone aerogels with a robust “thick‐neck” architecture. By exploiting the reactivity disparity of precursors, flexible segments are uniformly embedded within a rigid skeleton.

Adhesion‐Driven Removal of Microplastics From Aquatic Systems by Using Microgel Glues

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Soft polymeric microgels function as “glues” that aggregate diverse microplastics through multivalent adhesion, promoting their interfacial deposition and co‐precipitation for efficient removal from water. Remarkably, this approach remains effective even for nanoscale plastic particles as small as 50 nm.

Rational Design of Broad‐Spectrum Anti‐Enteroviral Molecular Glues Targeting Enteroviral RNAi Suppressors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
By leveraging this homodimerization mechanism, molecular glues were rationally designed to induce dysfunctional 3A dimerization, thereby restoring antiviral RNAi. The optimal molecular glue, VTP‐32, demonstrated potent and pan‐enterovirus (groups A, B, D) antiviral effects.
