A synthetic methodology for the preparation of asymmetric benzene‐1,4‐disulfonamides was developed and applied to generate potential anti‐dengue virus (DENV) compounds. Guided by computer‐assisted structural rationalization, we designed synthetically more accessible analogs with reduced toxicity that interact with the DENV NS5 domain, thereby ...

DFT reveals a concerted asynchronous mechanism with a hidden reaction intermediate in hydrosilane coupling (HRI), which occurs prior to a pentacoordinated silicon transition state. This mechanism indicates that the concerted asynchronous SiO bond formation and SiH bond cleavage precede the HH bond formation.

Chemical Syntheses of 3′ and 5′ Phosphorylated Oligonucleotides: An Overview
This review provides an overview of the various chemical methods employed in the synthesis of oligonucleotides bearing a phosphate group at their 3′ or 5′ end. Notably, it presents modified phosphoramidites and supports developed for this purpose. Oligonucleotides (ON) with a phosphate monoester group at their 3′ or 5′ end have applications in many ...

Dual‐Site Catalysis in Electrocatalytic C–N Coupling: Challenges and Design Principles
This review examines dual‐site catalysis in electrocatalytic C─N coupling through four recurring challenges: energetic barriers, kinetic mismatch, selectivity loss, and systemic constraints. It highlights how rationally designed dual‐site catalysts cooperatively lower reaction barriers, synchronize intermediate generation, suppress competing pathways ...

Multiphase detection of crucial biological amines using a 2,4,6-tristyrylpyrylium dye
The strong electrophilicity of arylpyrylium salts was recognized for the colorimetric detection of vital amine analytes, limited to ammonia or methylamines and putrescine as biogenic amine.
