Congenital abnormalities in methylmercury poisoning
Environmental Research, 1975Abstract This study was undertaken to determine the teratogenic potential of methylmercury on chick embryogenesis. Methylmercuric chloride was dissolved in sodium bicarbonate (.2%) and administered to the chick embryos at doses ranging from .0009 to .010 mg per egg. The injections were made at days 2 and 3 of incubation (Groups A and B).
