Combining antibody conjugates with cytotoxic and immune‐stimulating payloads maximizes anti‐cancer activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Methods to improve antibody–drug conjugate (ADC) treatment durability in cancer therapy are needed. We utilized ADCs and immune‐stimulating antibody conjugates (ISACs), which are made from two non‐competitive antibodies, to enhance the entry of toxic payloads into cancer cells and deliver immunostimulatory agents into immune cells.

Strong Orthogonal Decompositions and Nonlinear Impulse Response Functions for Infinite-Variance Processes [PDF]

open access: yes
In this paper we prove Wold-type decompositions with strongorthogonal prediction innovations exist in smooth, re‡exive Banach spaces of discrete time processes if and only if the projection operator generating the innovations satisfies the property of ...

Dammarenediol II enhances etoposide‐induced apoptosis by targeting O‐GlcNAc transferase and Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling in liver cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Tumor mutational burden as a determinant of metastatic dissemination patterns

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study performed a comprehensive analysis of genomic data to elucidate whether metastasis in certain organs share genetic characteristics regardless of cancer type. No robust mutational patterns were identified across different metastatic locations and cancer types.

Metric projections after renorming

open access: yesJournal of Approximation Theory, 1991
Let \((X,\|\cdot\|)\) be a real normed linear space and \(M\) a closed subspace of \(X\). A multivalued mapping \(P: X\to 2^ M\) is called a metric projection after renorming if there exists an equivalent norm \(|\|\cdot\||\) on \(X\) such that \(P: X\to 2^ M\) is the metric projection onto \(M\) in \((X,|\|\cdot\||)\). \(P\) is said to be norm-to-weak

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

On projection constant problems and the existence of metric projections in normed spaces

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2001
We give the sufficient conditions for the existence of a metric projection onto convex closed subsets of normed linear spaces which are reduced conditions than that in the case of reflexive Banach spaces and we find a general formula for the projections ...

New Inertial Forward-Backward Mid-Point Methods for Sum of Infinitely Many Accretive Mappings, Variational Inequalities, and Applications

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
Some new inertial forward-backward projection iterative algorithms are designed in a real Hilbert space. Under mild assumptions, some strong convergence theorems for common zero points of the sum of two kinds of infinitely many accretive mappings are ...
